A Consumer Gadget Map. Updated infographic of the computers and gadgets that I own and how they interconnect. This one highlights the Experience Zones.

A great example of a way to map out a consumer's experience for the purposes of product development and marketing.

Great to see Apple at the center of your digital life.

      Very cool idea.

The lines + surrounding ink are getting in the way of your core data.
Try reducing the line weights and general impact of the connections by 60%... and let's see the devices and services (the data) shine.

The type of connection maybe a red herring. Everything, everyone is connected. The transport layer isn't nearly as interesting as the application or business layer. Having a single (or 2 if needed) line type would streamline the story.

Thanks Juhan. The lines being too strong had not occurred to me. I do think the types of connections are very important, so I won't downplay those.

Maybe there should be a 3.0 version someday...

May I please have your permission to use this info-graphic? Would like to have the opportunity to use it in my BLOG, Facebook page, Tweet it, and potentially use it in a book I am planning to write. Full reference to you of course.
