Beautiful cleavage! Is that a dike or an insoluble bed?

It's actually a limestone bed within a slate in Ocoee Gorge, SE Tennessee - just downstream from Ducktown. There's a GSA Southeast (?) Section Centennial Field Guide field trip for Ocoee Gorge - not sure if this was one of the stops. I think it was a Western Kentucky University structure/petrology field trip in the spring of 2001 when I first saw this. The photo was intended to highlight the cleavage/bedding relationships near a fold nose.
