17 -- Negotiation -- WinWin: What You Need -- Some of the Icons for Anthony Iannarino's New Book
How would you illustrate the concept of 'Negotiation'?
For me, it's important to acknowledge the importance of the mutuality of the situation. It's only 'negotiation' if both parties win.
So I've layered this pic pretty strongly.
First of all, there's the floor. It's an image of a yin-yang symbol that they're grounded by.
Secondly, the chair they're sitting on is a classic Victorian love-seat... One structure, two seats, each facing opposite.
Thirdly, they're each dressed in the other person's yin-yang colour.
Lastly, they're both saying 'Win', and their speech bubble tails are entwined. They've reached a real concensus.
