"The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost
The poem "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost on a board in the poetry trail area at The Robert Frost Place near Franconia, New Hampshire.
Frost lived in the small farmhouse here with his young family for five years from 1915. He did much of his writing in this period, which precedes several tragic incidents which decimated his family. The property is now a memorial and visitor centre to this poet, who is held in very high regard by Americans if little regarded in Europe.
