Mark Spencer Hotel

The Mark Spencer Hotel, Portland, Oregon.

This was shot using the D3 and a 20mm f/2.8. I dig the killer light stars that it makes. :)

This hotel was built in 1906 and was called the Nortonia Hotel. It has quite a history. I spent the night there last night after the First Thursday Art Walk. The rooms were modern, clean and comfy.

That's my kind of image. B/W + starbursts. All you're missing is star trails. Check out my latest to see how it's done ;)

Cool building. The Nikon D3 was a great camera (5 years ago)

Dang Gary, if I knew you were going to be spending the night there, I would've sent one of my girls up your way. :)

Need to point out your room was right next to that street lamp. :) Did you run out in the middle of the night to take pics when it wasn't raining?? :)
