A Screamin' Sky
I shoot at night so you don't have to.
Please go check out the shot that little m:) took at the some time as this one. She was standing right next to me. :)
This was the thunderstorm as it was moving in over Mount Hood from Lost Lake last night.
The route that I take home from this location takes me over Lolo Pass which was exactly where the thunderstorm was the most intense.
At one point, once I got to the top of the pass, I pulled over on the side of the road to get my camera from the back of the car. I was right next to some high tension power lines. At that moment lightning struck very near where I was at and even before the thunder came I could here this sizzling sound shooting through the power lines above. It was eerie to the point that I decided that I wasn't going to stand out in it but would rather shoot from my car window, to much success.
I'm a bit disappointed in the shot as the high iso that I was shooting really muddied up the image.
Monday is over... we can all actually get something done tomorrow. I read recently that Tuesday is the most productive day of the week... so I figured that maybe I should just wait until Tuesday to get something done. :)
