Saint Salvator's Chapel

    Newer Older

An HDR image of the interior of the chapel at Saint Salvator's College in Saint Andrews, Scotland. The chapel is unique in Scotland in that the main entrance faces outward into the street and not inward towards the college. In 1528 Scottish reformer Patrick Hamilton was burned alive outside the chapel. To this day, University students will not step on the X that marks the spot.
