Looe island from Hore Stone Point
Looe island or St Georges island as it is also known has a fascinating history. It was privately owned till 2004 and was left to the Cornwall Wildlife Trust. Once or twice a year the tide is sufficiently low to walk out to the island even though it is more than a mile offshore. If you visit Looe, research the history of the island and take a boat trip out to it.
Taken with Tamron wide angle lens. Three Raw files processed with photomatix and tweaked in Gimp.
