NOT "Traills" Flycatcher 4-20120919

I believed this to be an Alder Flycatcher. Its small size, lack of crest, relatively large eyes and short wings distinguish it from Wood-Pewee. Sharp eye ring, very prominent wing bars and contrasting white edges on tertials suggest Alder (see additional images below). It appears that I stand corrected-- that what the experts are for! Got out for the first time since returning to our South Florida home. Images from morning walk in the nearby West Miramar wetlands. Visit blog.rosyfinch.com
