Pinyon Jay

Pinyon Jay-- looks like a small blue crow and visits in flocks that sometimes numbered in the hundreds. Digiscoped with Canon A-40 point-and-shoot through Kowa spotting scope, through window glass, in back yard, Cedar Crest, New Mexico. The birding calendar on this "Bachyard Birding" page also shows a comparison between the Pinyon and Scrub Jays: rosyfinch.com/birdlist.html
