Long-beaked Corella, Yarralumla, July 2012

This Long-beaked Corella is one of several that come to our bird feeder every morning. They are so aggressive that one or two of them keep even much larger numbers of bigger birds (notably Sulphur-crested Cockatoos), off the feeding bin until they have had enough to eat. This one has particularly bright colouring.
