Meet Ash Phillips! I used to chat to Ash years and years ago on the beaut of a site that was called Bebo! We stayed in touch since I was about 14, and eventually he decided there would be no more online friendship, and journeyed all the way up from Bristol to Manchester with Mum, Sister and Henry in tow and we spent the day shooting and putting him through all kinds of torture :P It was absolutely lovely to spend the day with them all, I felt like I'd known them for years and really glad to have met up! :D
I feel like I've finally cracked being able to work my own style into client shoots, and that's something I reeeallly struggled with this past year. I mucho prefer shooting other people to myself, but self portraits are so theraputic, so I won't be stopping doing them anytime soon! :)
Have a lovely day everyone! And massive thanks to Ash for putting up with my antics.
If you want to book a shoot with me, you can do so by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org.

I had Ash lie down in this pile of rotten branches, and covered him with a few to add some DOF in addition to the low aperture. I stood over him and shot horizontally, then built up the canvas of the image using two images I took of his torso and the branches above him.
