Auditiorium for Souls

Sometimes I wonder where I am going to go with all this photography malarkey at the end of the day. I am very lucky, in that I have an audience of great people on here who are willing to read and look at what I have to say, so it makes sense for me to say something worth reading, right?

Lately I've been wondering alot about art, mostly modern, and what it actually says about anything. I get so frustrated when I see a piece of modern "art" and all it is is a load of dots that I'm sure I have as wallpaper somewhere. When I develop my photos more I want to be able to say something through them. I love banksy because his concepts are clear and well thought out, he has something to say and he says it. I hope I can be like that one day. Even if I was struggling to make enough money and no one wanted to hire me, I'd be satisfied in that my work had a purpose and wasn't pure crap passed off as "art". Fingers crossed by audience will hang around and want to see it ;)

"Never in the field of human history has so much been used by so many to say so little" - Banksy on modern art (my favourite quote!)

Blog! for a before and after of this shot :) and a big fat update in general

Exceptional. The details are incredible. I'm blown away by the chairs extending to the far distance, into the mist. Great work.
