Mosquero Vientre Amarillo. Yellow-bellied Flycatcher. Empidonax flaviventris.

    Newer Older

    Que difíciles son los empidonax.
Two options (I think) Yellow-bellied Flycatcher or Least Flycatcher.
It had well marked wing bars. There is contrast between white throat and head, so maybe a least?
    Note: flash used.
    Thanks for your help.

The length of the primary extension looks better for Yellow-bellied Flycatcher.

I agree, this seems to be a Yellow-bellied. The overall color is good, and the wings look long enough. To me, the throat (except the chin) looks a bit dusky and more like a Yellow-bellied.
