Mount McLoughlin

From CRJ50 shortly after leaving MFR to SLC, again. Some post processing with only Windows Live Photo Editing, pushed the contrast and saturation a touch.

Update, the polarizers are useless on these small sensor Canons. Either they are already built into the lens or sensor setting somehow. In either case, unless you are shooting at fish in the water, the add on polarizers are a waste of money and time.

Beautiful shot! You're better off without a polarizer when shooting through an aeroplane window, they give you a rainbow effect across the image!

one42chrisp probably right. I have tried the polarizer on the S90 several times, and am yet to really appreciate it. The sensor is probably too small or too dense to make much of it. I posted one of "little bo peep has lost her A320" taken from the SFO terminal and it really does not improve at all compared to the polarizer free shots.

I just found that trick out yesterday one42 chrisp! I was shooting shot after shot getting that rainbow then just thought to take off the filter and taa daa...much much better.

Man, I'd love it if the original stock photo, in a large size, was available for some editing! Great great shot!
