ca. 1470 - 'St. George, Altarpiece of Our Lady', Thüringen, Broelmuseum, Kortrijk, province of West Flanders, Belgium
St. George is a very stylised statue of a man wearing contemporary German armour of about 1470. He's dressed in a late gothic armour, with long pointed tassets and a typical breastplate featuring an extra reinforcement ending in a point. His genouilleres and arm defences aren't realistically depicted.
