The Cure Signed Blackhawks Jersey
This Blackhawks Jersey, signed by the Cure, was auctioned off on December 5, 2008 for Rock For Kids and raised $5,200 to help provide music lessons for children who wouldn't be able to afford it otherwise.
Winners of this auction also receive four 200 level tickets to a Chicago Blackhawks home game, as well as a Zamboni Ride!
Fans of the Cure know that Robert Smith often dons the hockey jersey of the team of the city he is playing in - and when he was in Chicago on May 17 we were able to get the Cure to sign this Chicago Blackhawks jersey. They all signed it, and even wrote the band name on it! Thanks to Tony Gittins and Buddy Sokolick for helping to make this happen. Thanks to Brooke Scheyer with the Chicago Blackhawks for the tickets and Zamboni ride.
