• You can try to eliminate this bit of glare by manually holding a black sheet of paper or posterboard and adjust its position until the glare no longer shows up on the LCD screen of the camera. It works most of the time, but other times it's not possible. - Nannan Z.
  • I always like this effect - Nannan Z.
  • Good tip! I'll try it next time.
  • This fishing pole is so simple but the effect is fantastic! - Legohaulic
  • The half-stud offsets in here are great. - bruce n h
  • Wow! - kaitimar
  • Except that they are plate (or even half plate?) offsets, which is even more awesome! - nolnet
  • Why does nannon toot your horn so much? (Please don't answer, I dont want to know!) - Eggy Pop
  • Gorgeous details. - ElNickre
  • How's this gradual fading from white to light blue done? - SlyOwl
  • Huh? It's just SNOT plates. Maybe I don't get the question.

Domestic castle scenes are one of my favorite things. Even if it's not exciting, it's always satisfying to build these.

Beautiful! this is the kind of stuff I wish I could build. Every little detail is just right, and it all just works so well.

I agree with others, while the whole thing is really spectacular the waterfall stands out to me, Using those curve pieces looks really good. Now I want to build my own waterfall.

I love the use of color, especially in the water but also the various shades of green. Too often, we don't use enough different colors in our MOCs and this is a great example of how to do that well.

Great build Rock! Like everyone else before me said, nice use of colors. The whole thing is just a good example of a clean, well-thought-out MOC. Bravo! (sheesh, this is what I get for not visiting flickr for a day or two...)

    Lovely work.
The colors are nicely balanced and i like the sand green in this.
To finish it off there's all the small detail, most excellent.

Sweet, the waterfall is tied for the best I've ever seen. The other being Mark Kelso's. Awesome job.

    Beautiful waterfall.
It's a sweet tower, too. I like the wooden stairs up the cliff face. Very nice.

Hey dude! I'm trying to build a master Flickr index of all the wonderful Lego creations that have been previously featured on my blog The Living Brick. I'd love it if you could add this to the set for me. Thx!

I was steered here through an old TBB post, hope I'm not too late, just felt I needed to say how fantastic I thought this was. The waterfall technique is something I've not seen before, and the sand green looks stunning.
