Startrails Without Worries

This is just a bit of a proof of concept-test shot, and now I know it will work I'll get back on the next cloudless night and get a full startrail shot. It is going to be the night time partner to this shot.

I took it last night (I want back out after posting the last green rabbit shots) I wish I'd done it for longer now, but to be honest I got a bit freaked out on my own, very late on in that part of town. I'm amazed it's worked so well with all the light pollution and street lamps.

The sign is one of a collection of fake road signs installed by Finnish artist Otto Karvonen. This is part of "Made Up", the Liverpool Biennial International 08 exhibition

It's a composite of 13 exposures (15 seconds each) using a program called "Startrails". Total exposure time 195 seconds.
