a perfect crop
I was surprised to be invited to display this image in a site for "natural" landscapes. Hey don't get me wrong I like the vista.. that's why I took the shot, but natural it aint.
When white man arrived in Australia this land was covered with indigenous eucalyptus and acacias ... a fairly dense srubby forest . Our British forefathers in their wisdom stripped most of the most fragile land on earth, and now it's only just starting to recover with much help.
The irony of this beautiful canola crop is that the GM seed from Monsanto is some generations away from natural. Is it just me?
