Cat Scanning

    Newer Older

I was accompanied to work the other day by an excellent cat. It was very inquisitive and walked along next to me like an equal.

    This is not that cat.

However, it's AN Excellent Cat. It sits opposite us watching the world go by and looking very like a proper sacred Egyptian moggy.

We used to wonder how it got up there as the blind was completely undamaged but it seems obvious now :o)

THE Excellent Cat came back yesterday but was rubbings itself against some girls' legs; I thought they might get the wrong idea if I started taking photos...

    BIGGER

N.B. I am trying a tag experiment. It will be interesting to see how many views I get without comments with the current (perfectly accurate*) tags :o)

    * Okay, it's not really a kitten. Close enough.

This is a pretty impressive cat.

Good key words get all the perverts out. The amount of hits that one of my photos of my aunt and her dog got because it contained a passing reference to the dog's disproportionately massive nob got to slightly disturbing levels, I have now hidden it from view. Foot / feet / shoes tags always do wonders too.

      I don't wonder if one makes a passing reference to a disproportionately large todger one doesn't get what one deserves....:~}

      This shot a favourite btw....

heh, it is true that it wasn't entirely unexpected, but it did reach the slightly beyond a joke point :)

Dr Pat: The cat pretty much composed itself; it has a good eye for a picture! :o)

      James: Ta! :o)

kitty / david: So far the view count has not reached pervert levels :o)

An interesting experiment would be to colour shift it into flesh tones so the thumbnail is more ... enticing... ;o)

Good cat, I like the red at the bottom and the damaged blind

Lovely colours and light. What's the cat looking at?

    9. -RobW- 106 months ago | reply

jamalrob: Who knows what cats look at :o) I couldn't see anything up there, but then it spent about 5 minutes looking away from me. Into the closed blind. from a distance of one inch. Strange creatures.

Nice cat - we have a neighbour's cat we would like a shot of, but people can be so funny about you taking pictures through their windows!

Have you thought you might do better with 'cute, cutie, fluffy' tags?

    16. -RobW- 105 months ago | reply

sjdunphy: That was a groan-tastic pun. I love it!

suzigun: I did um and ah about this, but the blind was down so I didn't feel too much like a stalker :o)

I'll give the "cute" tags a try :o)

This cat is higher than power! Love the stance. Poor blinds... I wonder what the owner did! Yet, it is still peculiar that in your first pic of the cat... the blinds are not damaged... how did you get up that time??? Strange animals.

What I like about this photograph is the timing. I was riveted to the cat--precisely because of that noble stature. Only a few seconds later did I notice the demolished binds.
