NCS Helium-3 Transport Rover

I started to build at the end of December. Finitely I finished it. I need a long time to make it perfect.

The Rover is about 17 studs long and in "LEGO Trophy-Statuette-Scale". It's my first NCS-MOC, but the colours aren't really accurate, I had to use a lot of Pearl Light Gray, I hope it's ok ;-)

More photos (of details) maybe later.

    Genius!
  • Milán Bikics 4y

This is one of those very-very few MOCs which really stand out for me. Honestly, you just acquired my full admiration.
  • Robert Heim 4y

thank you for your kind words, guys!

@bikicsmilan: The idea to use the the technic universal joint parts separately (on wheels, Knees), I got from your great work!
  • Milán Bikics 4y

Robert Heim No kiddin'!!! There's something funny going on with my heart right now...!!! *-))) And the lightsaber hilt, that is the unstoppable advance of the core idea. That you can put the U-joint centre into an axle hole I also noticed, too bad you can't do it hole out. One thing you gotta try out, not on my photostream, but I just tried it out and it works: with the green pin on this part www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30488c01 you can make a whole new, although somewhat weak universal joint, with two pins instead of axle holes as ends. That might come in handy for microfig-scale mechs.

Spent about five minutes just staring at this with my jaw dropped. Absolutely brilliant little rover and loader. So many clever connections and unexpected part usage.
