Winter blues, Mono Lake (California)
I'm sure it's completely uncool to admit that you really like one of your own pics, but this is my favorite pic I've taken at Mono to date--even more than any of the sunrise or sunset pics I've taken. This was about an hour before sunset, so I had nice, subdued light, and the snow on the eastern sierras behind the tufa in this shot was wonderfully reflective and kept the light nice and even. I was thrilled to have a windless afternoon (because man, can it ever get windy there), so reflections were great, too.
As the inestimable Mr. Breezy points out below, this one really does look best viewed large! :)
