Adele on her new bicycle, first day riding in Jamaica
Suzy bought new bikes for Adele and Linus in Morgantown back in August while evacuated during Hurricane Dean, and the bikes just arrived via "unaccompanied air freight" (aka "a slow boat to China") a few days ago.
The kids are recalling Aunt E's and Emily's help learning to ride back in August. They are having fun here riding in our 'gated community' but have scraped their knees a bit as they learn to negotiate turns and hills.
I shot about 45 images, and assembled into this composite using PtGui and GIMP. Don't know why a regular photo wouldn't suffice, maybe because I wanted to capture the dynamic range of the blue skies and palm trees and her face etc, and I knew this would work. Also, I wanted detailed image of everything from the palm nut thing lower left along with everything else.
Canon G6 camera with tripod, program mode shooting large JPG images. Stitching errors may be because I had to lean the tripod to get some of the sky shots. In retrospect, I might prefer not to center the subject for a profile, but with this type of image the photographer is not totally in control.
