A man, his dogs and an epic sunset

Of all the years I've been visiting my aunt's house I never knew this hill existed and only came upon it by chance while driving by and wondered what it would look like during sunset.

This was the first thing I saw after I parked under a closed down church ( www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151085358435345&set... ), grabbed the camera from the boot, paid no attention to what lens was attached or the aperture set from previously... didn't even have time to set the tripod up and just let it dangle off the camera as I didn't want to miss the man walking past.

It was only when I zoomed in on the screen that I realised he was walking two dogs and that I had shot at f/2 with the 50mm...

I have left the telephone/power line even though I was in 2 minds about 'shopping it out but I think it works for this shot.

If you like this then I have 2 alternate compositions from the same sunset in my gallery :)

Niall Allen Thanks a lot! It's one of those photos that you look at through the LCD after taking it and a wide grin appears on your face and you just can't wait to get back and upload it!

Personally like the power lines. I would leave them as you like them. It adds something to the frame, IMO.

Never Photo Cheers buddy, I will certainly leave the power lines in this one as is but will upload one without them providing it doesn't look odd based on my 'shopping skills :p
