      Great. I love the idea.
      Did you make sure the pins are made of a metal that's safe for the tree?

      (The verification on your blog doesn't work at the moment, by the way - I seem to get the name of the file instead of the image itself...)

      No I didn't check, but the pin backs are no more than an 1/8th inch and didn't actually go into the tree, but the outer bark which is dead. The pins went in so superficially that I know they won't stay up very long. First rain or strong wind, and they probably will be gone.
      As for the verification, I'm not exactly sure what you mean. I've checked the links and they seem to work fine. Let me know if you continue to have problems. Thanks.
