Rio Puerco Bridge - Route 66, New Mexico

Built in 1933, this is a Parker Through truss bridge crossing the Rio Puerco. It's on the post-1937 alignment of Route 66, approximately 19 miles west of Albuquerque. Slightly different from my photo of the same location 12 years ago, taken in June 2002, there is now a large casino visible in the background, that opened just a year and 3 months later, in September 2003.
