Trails Arch Bridge crossing the Colorado River

A bad photo of the Trails Arch Bridge taken as we crossed I-40 from California into Arizona. This is the same I-40 crossing from Easy Rider, as well as the Old Trails Arch Bridge. In Easy Ridger, the Red Rock Bridge, is also visible, which carried Route 66 traffic from 1947 until 1966, when I-40 became the primary crossing. The Red Rock Bridge was later demolished. The Old Trails Arch Bridge, which was built in 1916 and was an alignment of Route 66 from its inception through 1947, when it was replaced by the Red Rock Bridge.
