Some photos remind me of jigsaw puzzles - they offer patterns that would give helpful hints for where the pieces belong. This is one of those.
I’ve been thinking a lot about jigsaw puzzles lately, probably because they remind me of my mother who amassed a large collection of them. She almost always had one going, and whenever I arrived for a visit I’d invariably plug in a few pieces before taking her out for the day.
I miss those shared moments with her.
The years all went by so fast. One generation passes to the next. And among the keepsakes are images like this one, quietly waiting to be put back together again.
