With all those SPs last week, I forgot about my 52 shot for this week! Was not feeling too inspired and was not too happy with the idea I had in mind (see outtake), so I tried a few other poses and I liked how this one came out. Sort of fits with the mistake theme as well!

      Thanks all.

fantasiaamazing: davidcaloren: Agreed - Attenborough is fantastic. I love the way he presents but the BBC camera work is fantastic on the DVDs

dame ags: Yes - it seemed quite different to what I normally take - has a more abstract feel. Which is what appealed to me I think

I really like the outtake. I'm curious as to why you weren't pleased with it... mainly because it's different than what you had in mind?

That being said, the "Darkness" shot is really cool; I like how you've just captured the line of your profile and your shirt.

Yes and I like how you have only used half of the frame.

      Thanks again for the comments

Carolyn - I was not happy with the subject/theme of the out take (me reading a book) I tried to jazz it up with different poses and lighting and it was during one of those instances that I got the darkness shot. I liked it so decided to use it in the end. I am reasonably happy with the out take but feel the pose and composition is boring :)

Attenborough is one of Kelly's heroes being a Marine Biologist herself.

I really like this shot, very cool subtle lighting.
