This is amazing, great job Ritwik. Now I'm considering the Parson's Design school for my Master's, after "The New School". Your skills definitely speak on their own.

rhetorikolas, thanks. If you do end up going to Parsons let me know and I'll tell you which professors specialize in information design.

I'm a bit confused by the colours - have you got the academic/non-academic labels the wrong way round then? Looks great though and I wish I could see enough detail to really explore in depth!

    9. ritwikdey 56 months ago | reply

Hamish, the labels are the right way, although I can see why you'd think they weren't.
I have a large version of the graphic up on Flickr, so you can read in as much detail as you need.

agreed, aren't the things in cool colors your academic interests? they are labelled non-academic.

    11. Hamish MacPherson 56 months ago | reply

Think I understand - labels refer to milestones not coloured stacks. Took me a while to work out though

Forgive me if I'm just not seeing the explanation somewhere, but what do the thicknesses of the bars represent?

    13. ritwikdey 56 months ago | reply

The thickness represents intensity of interest or commitment.

      Best regards

Deep ecology and Giaia Theory were subjects I had to tackle during my graduate thesis. I wish I had studied them sooner.
