    SpeedM,

your cupcake looks absolutely stunning! I came across this website from yahoo when I was in desperate search on "how to make a strawberry cupcake" for my baby Juliette's 1st birthday. It will be a princess theme so I figure strawberry cupcakes would be perfect compliment. I have never made cupcakes, this will be my first time. I figure how hard can it be to bake right? Knowing me, I should stay out of the kitchen but I want to do this for my baby. it will be extra special but my question to you is how do you make your strawberry toppings swirl? it doesn't look like you took a spatula or a butter knife and smoothed the topping over. How do you do that to make it so professional looking? Please e-mail me at mybabyjewels@gmail.com or post here. I would love to hear back from you. Thank you so much. Your pictures are amazing. Not only are you a great photographer, you cook as well?? artisti/chef WHAT A COMBO! keep up the great work! Thank you.

I made these today. I wonder if they might even be better with a hint of lemon? I had some problems with the sauce spilling over on the stove, so I ended up just adding mascerated berries to the frosting (since I didn't have enough left), and it was fine. I think I'd just do that to the batter next time also. I also baked a whole berry in the center of each cupcake, and it added nice flavor and texture. Thank you for the recipe
