Its mating season in Florida as the Roseate Spoonbill was captured doing

a flyby silhouetted against the morning sun. The Spoonbill has an average

length of 32 inches and a wing span of 50 inches; it is related to Ibises. This

bird has a spatulate bill which lends itself to distinctive foaaging.
