Tawny-crowned Honeyeater

This flighty little fellow is a Tawny-crowned Honeyeater, a mid sized honeyeater of Australia's heathlands. It's a real flibbertigibbet, and despite knowing almost exactly where these guys were and stalking them for two days, this is the best shot I could get. It's good enough for a record shot, I guess.

Taken at the Bay of Fires on April Fool's Day 2012. #254 in my species set.
