Konica Autoreflex-TC with Vivitar 55mm f/2.8 macro
OK here's some camera porn to keep my flickr stats high ;)
The lens is a Vivitar 55mm f/2.8 macro (made by Komine), in Konica (AR) mount and extends to a true 1:1. It is in immaculate near mint condition, with a case, and was bought in a charity shop for £10. It seemed such a shame to just look at it on the shelf, and this lens is meant to be really pretty good, so the camera body (a Konica TC, aperture-priority-auto plus manual machine) was therefore bought at the Wolverhampton camera fair today to go with it. (It cost £7.) The camera has no batteries (yet) but seems to work perfectly on manual - it will need new light seals of course, but that seems all. It's really quite tidy. Main problem is limited slower shutter speeds (1/8 to 1/1000 plus B). But we will see how it goes first.
I really like my Konica S2 rangefinder (the lens is great, possibly the sharpest I own) and maybe I will try some of the Konica AR-mount lenses someday soon too. If I do this camera can be a first step in that direction.
