Definitely The Wrong Side!
Popped out on Thursday to shoot the 6C52 Heysham - Sellafield flasks.
This top 'n' tail working has a habit of running well ahead of its booked timings so I left the house in what should've been plenty of time and headed south.
I'd decided to give Kirksanton a go as there are two level-crossings with approach signals in close proximity either side of the hamlet, with both crossings operated by their own dedicated keeper.
Unfortunately slow moving traffic meant that I lost valuable minutes and as I drove over the southern crossing to park the car the crossing-keeper appeared and began to close the gate.
This meant that I was unable to get to my preferred vantage point and was marooned on the shadowed side of the line with the train "pegged off".
Having driven the best part of 40 miles I was going to take a photo, regardless.
This is it.
This was the first time I've had to use Photoshop Elements in anger, comments welcome!
