..after all, it's pleasing to see any classic traction out & about and earning its keep on the modern railway.
Yesterdays 6S54 Sellafield - Hunterston and 6M22 return was headed by the same pair of Class 37s that I had photted on the previous day's 6M60.
Could've been "Sheds" of course!
Parton station (or at least what little remains of it these days) is the location, with St. Bridget's church at Low Moresby prominent on the skyline as 6M22 heads south.
