Community Day 2017: Americans in Paris
April 28, 2017. In honor of our spring exhibition, "Samuel F.B. Morse's 'Gallery of the Louvre' and the Art of Invention," Reynolda House hosted its free day to the community in French style! Visitors were treated to three performances in the Forecourt Garden by the Winston-Salem Festival Ballet as they participated in hands-on activities related to Morse code. Visitors also enjoyed accordion music throughout the afternoon as well as local food trucks and learned the in's and out's of communicating in Morse code with the Forsyth Amateur Radio Club and 3-D printing with Wake Forest Innovation Quarter.

We are grateful to the Terra Foundation for American Art for their generous support of this event. Community Day is sponsored by Berkshire Hathaway Homeservices Carolinas.
