Sandia Mountain Wiew
Finally i got to test the D700 in combination with the 12-24mm
I made a choice for that basically for the whole New Mexico trip I would be shooting "wide" all the time just to learn how the lens performs and what to learn to see what the glass would see. It definitly gives one some pictures you would not normally shoot wide but I was happy to have this supersharp 12-24mm f/2.8 Nikkor lens with me on Watermelon Mountain (Sandia) with its spectacular views.
Note the cables for the tram down to Albuquerque. This is supposed to be worlds longest single span tram in the world. (At least that is what they told us)
The picture should be seen in larger format - try it out View On Black
