A home and a name !
The decision has been taken, the new cat will stay in the family. After long discussions he has finally been given a name, Fynnegan, and we call him Fynn.
Fynn has settled in very well. He is a very friendly and lively cat and my big boy Luan seems to like him although, of course, he is still having a close eye on the new one. Fynn is considerably smaller than my other cats which might have to do with the fact that he has not been nourished adequately during the early months of his life. When the rescue center people found him at his former home he was very sick and scraggy and apparently more dead than alive. He spent almost two weeks at a veterinary clinic before they could take him to the rescue center and start to feed him up. During his first days with us he used to eat his meals hastily as if he was afraid that someone might come and take away his food. Slowly but steadily he is getting more relaxed. No need to worry about food shortages here !
