Lakeland

Haweswater, Cumbria. Home to Golden Eagles (although I didn't see any).

 

This is a lakeland reservoir providing water for the local population. In order to create it, two villages were flodded back in 1929. You can still see the remains of the buildings when water is running low in the area.
