Haunani Apoliona

    Newer Older

Taken with my iPhone 4 and processed with Adobe Photoshop Mobile for iOS. I may redo the editing in the "real" Photoshop... or not... who knows, LOL!

Went to a friend's family home, (The Liljestrand House which is on the National Registry of Historic Places) to enjoy a wonderful, Sunday afternoon Hawaiian music concert. This is Haunani Apoliona. Aside from being a mean slack-key guitar player and singer whom I've watched perform over the last 15 years or so, is also a native Hawaiian activist.

She is also a member of the group Olomana who was performing here.

Cool portrait, Rex. No need for a "redo" in my opinion - this looks great. And I think you caught Haunan's creative and fighting spirit beautifully in this capture. Sounds like you enjoyed a truly perfect evening.

Long time no see Rex. Thanks for your comment. Did you buy the TS-E yet? For architecture it is such a nice tool but even for outdoors is does a great job.
Great portrait here by the way. In this colour it looks timeless. Need to do more of these mysef.
