Owl Wing Prints
Walking the dogs on Catfish Pond, Garrison, NY, 1/9/10, spied some fascinating marks in the dry fresh snow. Almost surely the marks left by an owl stooping to snatch a rodent. More at dotearth.blogs.nytimes.com
