Common Tern and the much bigger Sea Gull, lake Manasarovar, Tibet.

The small Common Tern attacks a much bigger Sea Gull (juvenile), the big bird was to close to the youngster of the Tern. This was shot on the western shore of the lake.

There is a great variety of water birds on the vast shores of Lake Manasarovar (Mapham Yutso). Some water birds species I saw: Common Redshank, Common Sandpiper, Grey Heron, Ruddy Shelduck, Common Merganser, Bar-headed Goose, and the two water birds mentioned above.
