Nyag chu ཉག་ཆུ་ (Yalong) is an 1,323 kilometers (822 mile) long river in the Kham ཁམས། region and starts in Trindu ཁྲི་འདུ། county.
It is a tributary of the Dri chu འབྲི་ཆུ་ (Yangtze / Chang Jiang). Its source originates from the Tibetan Plateau བོད་མཐོ་སྒང་ , and its confluence with the Dri chu (Yangzte) is in Nyachuka ཉག་ཆུ་ཁ། county north central Yunnan.
