Glover`s Pika, Ochotona gloveri:
Summer pelage tea brown, grayish brown, grayish russet, or grayish brown dorsally; head from rostrum to front orange or pale brown,( in brookei, tip of nose orange rufous with light gray patches above eyes, like a mask; in gloveri, cheek dark gray and rostrum smoky yellow); venter and upper side of feet grayish white, dull gray, or white; large, ears more upright, thinly haired ears light chestnut, orange brown, or orange. Winter pelage similar to summer pelage but slighty lighter.
Distribution: Eastern third of Tibetan Plateau.
Natural History: Inhabits talus and rocky clefts at high elevations 3500-4200 m, but it may also occur as low as 1700 m. Can be found living commensally in adobe walls of villages and lamaseries and monasteries. A generalized herbivore; constructs prominent haypile. Appears to be a typical rock-dwelling pika. Few details known of its biology.
