Pentax Legacy

While I'm primarily a Nikon shooter, I still have a soft spot for the classic Pentax bodies and lenses from the past.

As 2019 marks the 100th Anniversary of Asahi Optical it seems like an appropriate time to celebrate my favourite Pentax cameras.

From the top-left:

1/ The "Asahi Pentax" - the original Pentax with 55mm f2.2 Takumar [1957].

2/ Spotmatic SPII with Super-Multi-Coated 50mm f1.4 Takumar [1971].

3/ MX with M 40mm f2.8 - the original "pancake" lens [1978].

4/ The modern K-1 DSLR (Silver Limited Edition) with film-era 31mm & 77mm FA Limited lenses [2017].
