This afternoon, the congresswoman visited Detachment Hawaiʻi at Marine Corps Base Hawaiʻi, home to the Third Marine Regiment, which provides and facilitates assistance to wounded, ill and injured Marines, Sailors, and their family members throughout the phases of their recovery at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaiʻi and the U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa, Japan in order to successfully return them to full duty or transition to civilian life. The congresswoman also received a briefing on key issues and developments at the base from atop Kansas Tower.
