Easy money...if the weather's nice! For days now a boy has sat in a chair on the corner not
far from here beside a sign advertising tax help! He looks so bored! Some days he has his
back turned toward the street....too much attention, I guess! LOL

here the signholders lean against a building and sleep, or hide behind the sign making cellphone calls or just stand in one spot...this guy never stood still for a second. he was AMAZING and talented.

I lived in LA about this time of year in 1964, I clearly remember the toasters on the counter at Wilshire in Westwood and wondering when it would snow.

A steal at $5,410 per month (OK, the penthouse is $25,000 per month, but who needs all that space?). And the award for "one-handed holding of a heavy sign goes to..." our protagonist, who even manages to keep it pointed up while jiving! Great energy capture--I can almost see him moving in this still.

Once again, you catch the moment and the flavour of a place.

i love visiting LA about once every four years or so, nothing much ever changes, the guys driving the 800 thousand dollar $$$$$$ cars are getting younger, and Rodeo Drive doesn;t look as glamorous, but there is still something in the air that makes it BUZZ!

I has such ENERGY, not always good, but sometimes a lot of good, But it does have energy.

I am always jazzed when i am there, it is HAPPEKING in a most bizarre wary,

      about once every 4 yeas!

      Great shot!

      hugs,

      billie
