Yosemite National Park

Alongside the Merced River on Northside Drive, Valley View is typically the last viewpoint people stop at when leaving Yosemite National Park. Unfortunately I took this photo while on an emergency conference call for work. I was surprised I actually had AT&T service here.

Anyway, Valley View gives you a great lower angle of the river and a fallen tree in front of you. To the left you see El Capitan and to the right is the Cathedral Rocks and Bridalveil Falls. This is one of my favorite viewpoints as it's much more intimate than Tunnel View. Probably because it sneaks up on you on a one-way road. You can't turn around if you miss it.
